Spark! – Popkomplex

Summer is here!!! And for the people stuck all day working with the radio in the background.. this means HELL!!! The summer radio HELL!!! Same catchy radiotunes about the beach, girls and bathing… just exactly what you wish to hear while working. Swedish act SPARK! decided it´s time for a change…. he is the brand new singel “Popkomplex” which is like a fistpunch in the face to commercial radio…. the problem is …. hhrrmmm … it’s just as catchy as those damn summersongs…..
Just brilliant!

Dance or Die – Nostradamnation

Veteran (formed in 1988) Berlin-based dark electro legends Dance Or Die returns with a monster release! On ‘Nostradamnation’, Wagner (Gary Wagner) and A.N.G.O. (Andreas Goldacker) combine dark atmosphere with massive beats, deep vocals with dance floor infernos plus aggression and melody in the unique way that has become Dance Or Die’s trademark.
Well worth checking out!

Ljusår – Ljusår

Ljusår (Light-year), a new band, founded on the ruins of Kamera and Pennebaker, another fine acts. Now some of the members has returned. Joakim Hjelm, Donald Pilfalk and Bjorn Öqvist, has now picked up the romantic lead from popmusic. Please watch the video in previous post.

Vision Talk – Distances

Vision Talk was formed in 2007 as a collaboration between Krister Pettersson (at that time in the band “Chinese Theatre) and the textwriter and singer Richard Flow. The project was originally mostly intended as a “fun thing” but the ideas and cooperation was so successful that it all resulted in the album “Dirty Italo Disco” which was released in 2009. The band has for the new album left the Italostyle behind and instead developed a modern synth-pop with more weight and feeling.
Danceable and catchy. Perfect synthpop! 🙂

Moby – Destroyed

Destroyed is Moby‘s tenth album. The majority of the recording was done while Moby was touring. He’d stay up in his hotel room because he suffers from insomnia and work on music at odd times of day such as two in the morning, and it shows in the mood on the album.
Brilliant electronica/ambient!
